If you hear the rumble of a 28ft motorhome thundering through France towing a speedboat, chances are it's Darryl living his best life. A chilli con carne connoisseur and classic car buff, he’s the kind of guy who can talk Minis, MG Metros, and motorway mishaps with equal enthusiasm.
Darryl’s love affair with all things classic began early—he spent 12 years lovingly restoring vintage Minis, proving that true commitment isn't just for relationships. And if you ask him about his dream ride? He’s already had it: a 1985 MG Metro. Retro never goes out of style.
Originally destined for the Army as a vehicle mechanic, Darryl quickly discovered that tank maintenance wasn’t quite the transferable skillset he had in mind for civilian roads. But don’t worry—he’s found his perfect post behind the Aftersales wheel at Batchelors Otley.
When he's not running the show at work, you'll find him behind the wheel of his mammoth motorhome or splashing about in some serious water sport action. Because Darryl doesn’t just go on holiday—he arrives.
