Batchelors Motor Group has strengthened its electric-vehicle portfolio with the arrival of three key new models — the Suzuki e Vitara, Omoda E5, and Renault Mégane E-Tech — reflecting the growing appetite among UK drivers for zero-emission motoring backed by trusted local service. The Omoda E5 is a technology-driven compact crossover that has quickly attracted attention in the UK EV market. Powered by a 61 kWh battery, it delivers up to 267 miles of range (WLTP) and supports rapid DC charging. The Omoda E5 features a striking, contemporary design with a bold front grille and sleek LED lighting, and its interior includes dual high-definition screens, wireless smartphone connectivity, and a range of driver-assistance systems. As a newer entrant in the UK, Omoda emphasizes value through comprehensive standard specification and accessible finance deals, making it a compelling choice for cost-conscious buyers looking to transition to electric mobility.
The Renault Mégane E-Tech continues to demonstrate Renault’s expertise in EV design and engineering. Built on the dedicated CMF-EV platform, the Mégane E-Tech offers up to 280 miles of range (WLTP), combining efficiency and comfort with a heat pump for improved energy management in colder conditions. The interior features an advanced Google-powered infotainment system, high-quality materials, and multiple driver-assistance features. Renault’s established dealer network and service infrastructure provide reassurance for long-term ownership, making the Mégane E-Tech a trusted choice for both private buyers and business fleets.
