Renault Twingo E-Tech electric Gears up for a Busy 2026

  • Following its reveal last November, Twingo E-Tech electric is ready to take centre stage for its launch in 2026 with a varied programme of events
  • The electric city car rewriting the rules for its segment will be making its first public appearance between 9 and 18 January at the Brussels Motor Show. To mark the event, Renault will be presenting six new mobility objects as part of a collaborative programme, “Twingomania”
  • Later on in the year, le défilé renault – the Carwalk will be hosting Expo Twingo and the Twingo Festival, two dedicated events set to surprise and entertain members of the public giving them the opportunity to discover this new model and its cheery, playful personality
  • Twingo E-Tech electric will also be in the media spotlight this spring for international road tests with the press, before going on show at the Roland-Garros French Open, where Renault is a premium partner for the fifth consecutive year
  • Coinciding with these events, Renault will also be presenting a unique collection of merchandise, reflecting the ingenious, playful and contemporary world of Twingo E-Tech electric

These six objects are:

  • Twingo Elwing, an ultra-compact electric skateboard. Weighing just 6.9 kilos, it can reach a speed of 25 km/h with a standard battery that can be charged in 90 minutes. The wide, concave deck offers a smooth, stable ride, ideal for getting around quickly and easily.
  • Twingo Mo-Jet, an electric bodyboard that redefines gliding sensations. The modular design is ideal for both leisure and more advanced sporting activities (surfing, bodyboarding, foiling, etc.). The motor delivers around 100 kilos of thrust for a top speed of 55 km/h. The battery charges to 95% in just 45 minutes, a real advantage for continuous use over multiple sessions.
  • Twingo Kahe, an electric marine motor: multi-functional, intelligent, lightweight, silent and ultra-compact. In just a few seconds, it can be transformed into a boat motor, an underwater scooter or a means of propulsion for a paddle board or kayak. Weighing just 4.9 kilos, it has a top speed of 8 km/h and autonomy of up to 8 hours. Featuring high levels of thrust and autonomy, it is easy to use, with a practical, playful spirit in keeping with the energy of Twingomania.
  • Pamela, an electric urban bike inspired by the world of BMX. Compact, with a bold design reflecting the urban pop culture of the 80s and 90s, it has a cargo basket and a 522 Wh battery for a top speed of 25 km/h and a range of up to 70 km. In the world of Twingomania, it represents the ideal fusion of fun, electric mobility and attitude.
  • Vässla, an electric urban scooter combining Scandinavian minimalism with modern mobility. Its clean, flowing lines and silent operation make it as much an object of style as a means of transport. It has a range of up to 120 km (with two batteries) and a top speed of 45 km/h.
  • Twingo Vega, an electric motorbike for in and around the city. Built around a lightweight chassis, it features a 10 kW motor with a 7 kWh battery for a range up to 140 km and a top speed of 110 km/h. Vega is an efficient, expressive two-wheeled take on the spirit of Twingomania, with the emphasis on new forms of mobility.

Twingo Expo and Twingo Festival at le défilé Renault - the Carwalk on the Champs-Elysées
During the spring, Twingo Expo is set to open at le défilé renault – the Carwalk – the brand's iconic showcase on the Champs-Elysées in Paris – replacing the Cliorama exhibition. An experimental exhibition combining past and present, it puts Twingo E-Tech electric on show ahead of its arrival in the network, with a range of events scheduled to run until September.

The end of spring and the arrival of summer will be an opportunity for a musical celebration of Twingo E-Tech electric, again at le défilé renault – the Carwalk, with the Twingo Festival from 18 to 21 June. A line-up of artists will be performing on site over four days, as part of a programme reflecting the image of Twingo: cheery, playful and colourful.

Journalists at the wheel
Twingo E-Tech electric will also be in the media spotlight in the spring, firstly for the international road tests with the press. These tests will be an opportunity for journalists to assess the dynamic qualities of the AmpR Small platform and the right-sizing of the powertrain components: 60 kW (82 hp) motor, 27.5 kWh LFP battery and a WLTP range of 263 km. They will be able to test not only the handling, but also the exceptionally functional onboard features, with a connected experience unique in its class, and wide range of accessories creating a bright and cheerful interior vibe.

Twingo E-Tech electric will also be part of the Renault line-up for the Roland Garros French Open from 18 May to 7 June, and for which Renault will be a premium partner for the fifth consecutive year.
