OMODA&JAECOO UK has continued its strong performance for 2026 with a total of 7,152 vehicles registered in April* according to today’s results from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).

OMODA – launched to the UK market in August 2024 – continued to post strong results showing sustained growth with 3,275 registrations in April*, equating to a market share of 2.19%*. JAECOO – brought to the UK market in January last year – also saw continuing customer demand with 3,877 registrations recorded in April*, accounting for a market share of 2.60%*.

An additional key result from the registrations shows that OMODA&JAECOO features twice in the top 10 models for April*. The OMODA 5 was confirmed as the sixth best-selling model in April 2026, recording units of 2,308*, while the JAECOO 7 took tenth position in the chart with volumes for April standing at 2,099*. Furthermore, the JAECOO 7 was also confirmed as the UK’s third best-selling new car of 2026 recording 17,668 models registered since January this year*.

Less than two years since the group’s UK launch, such strong figures underline the continuing consumer demand across both the OMODA and JAECOO brands. With nearly 40% of sales going to private buyers, the figures reinforce strong retail demand, while fleet and mobility channels provide scale and stability across the wider market mix. Total registrations for 2026 for OMODA stand at 12,324*, while JAECOO has seen registrations of 22,789* in 2026 – this brings the total registrations for both brands for 2026 to 35,113*.

This continued strong momentum for the brands reflects more than just a successful introduction to the UK – it is proof that OMODA&JAECOO has a clear intent to build its presence in Great Britain and continue to tempt buyers to its product portfolio with its bold designs, advanced technology and strong value positioning.

The OMODA&JAECOO retailer network currently stands at 126 dealerships across Great Britain, offering customers wide coverage across the whole country. Furthermore, expansion of both the sales outlets and the model line-ups for both brands is expected to continue as 2026 progresses.

The OMODA range includes the OMODA 5 (SHS-H, ICE, EV), OMODA 7 (SHS-P, ICE on sale later in Q2 2026) and flagship OMODA 9 (SHS-P). The JAECOO line-up features the JAECOO 5 (SHS-H, ICE, EV), the JAECOO 7 (SHS-P, SHS-H, ICE, AWD/FWD) and the newly launched all-wheel-drive JAECOO 8 SHS-P, available in two distinctive seat configurations to appeal to a wider range of buyers.
