OMODA&JAECOO has surpassed one million global vehicle sales in under three years, establishing the fastest trajectory to this milestone of any automotive brand house worldwide. The achievement, confirmed during Auto China 2026 (Beijing Motor Show), coincides with the brand’s third anniversary and marks a defining moment in its rapid global expansion.
Since its launch in 2023, OMODA&JAECOO has operated with a clear strategic positioning – “Born Global, Born Green, Born Unique” – enabling it to scale at pace across both established and highly regulated markets. This includes Europe and right-hand-drive regions such as the UK, where the brand has quickly established a strong foothold. In just three years, OMODA&JAECOO has expanded into 64 countries and regions worldwide, is laying a robust foundation for sustained international growth.
This trajectory is underpinned by a record-breaking performance in March 2026, during which the brand delivered 61,254 vehicles globally, representing a 210% year-on-year increase. Electrified vehicles continue to be a central driver of this momentum, with 39,716 New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) sold in the same period, up 471% compared to March 2025, reflecting growing global demand for efficient and accessible hybrid technologies. With all powertrains engineered, designed and manufactured in-house by parent company Chery International, this performance also highlights the strength and popularity of the Group’s integrated innovation capabilities.
At Auto China 2026, OMODA&JAECOO used its third anniversary and one-million milestone as a strategic inflection point, unveiling a series of initiatives spanning product, technology and long-term global development. Central to this was the continued advancement of its original Super Hybrid System (SHS), which has been positioned as a core pillar of the brand’s electrification strategy. Designed to deliver a balance of performance, efficiency and extended range, SHS is intended to provide a compelling solution for customers navigating rising fuel costs and evolving mobility needs.
Alongside its hybrid technology showcase, OMODA&JAECOO also presented the global debut of its Valet Parking Driver (VPD) intelligent parking technology. Introduced to international media for the first time, the system was demonstrated through dedicated experience zones, allowing participants to engage directly with its functionality and highlighting its potential to enhance everyday usability through advanced driver-assistance capabilities.
The Beijing Auto Show also provided the platform for the debut of the OMODA 4, which officially rolled off the production line on 26 April, and confirmed for the UK market in Q4 2026. Designed with a strong emphasis on future-facing design, “Cyber Mecha” and digital integration, the model reflects the brand’s focus on appealing to a new generation of globally connected customers, combining distinctive styling with advanced intelligent features.
The wider programme, spanning both the Beijing Auto Show and the Chery International Business Summit in Wuhu, brought together global media, partners and stakeholders, reinforcing OMODA&JAECOO’s ambition to scale as a truly international brand. Europe was positioned as a key pillar of this strategy, with continued expansion across the region. The UK remains central to this growth, supported by a rapidly developing retail network, which currently sits at 124 retailers, and increasing customer demand across both OMODA and JAECOO product lines.
Gary Lan, CEO of OMODA&JAECOO UK, said: “Reaching one million global sales in under three years marks an important milestone for OMODA&JAECOO and reflects the progress made through our global strategy. From the outset, our brand house has been focused on international growth, supported by technology, design and an understanding of customer needs.
“This milestone highlights the progress to date and the opportunities ahead. With continued growth across Europe and an expanding presence in the UK, we are focused on the next phase of development, supported by new products, ongoing investment in electrification and a commitment to innovation.”
With one million global sales achieved in record time, sustained triple-digit growth and an expanding portfolio of products and technologies, OMODA&JAECOO now enters its next phase as one of the fastest-rising brands in the global automotive landscape. In the UK, this momentum translated into a landmark moment last month, with the JAECOO 7 becoming the best-selling car in the market, while the brand also confirmed at Auto China that the OMODA 4 will launch in the UK in Q4 2026.
