OMODA&JAECOO, part of Chery International – the largest exporter of passenger cars from China for 23 consecutive years – and founded in 2023, marked a major global milestone at Auto China 2026 (Beijing Motor Show) today, celebrating the achievement of surpassing one million users worldwide.
On display was the OMODA 4, a key addition to the brand’s evolving global line-up and a clear expression of its future design and technology direction – and confirmed for UK launch in Q4 2026. It was showcased with a full hybrid SHS-H powertrain specification, which was first introduced on the OMODA line on the OMODA 5 SHS-H at the beginning of the year.
Positioned as a compact, urban-focused model, OMODA 4 combines sharp, contemporary styling with a strong emphasis on digital integration and everyday usability. Its exterior reflects the brand’s progressive ‘art in motion’ philosophy, while its connected, user-centric interior focuses on intuitive technology, integrated displays and seamless interaction. Advanced connectivity and intelligent driver assistance systems further underline its appeal to modern, tech-focused customers.
Bringing this momentum to life, the brand delivered a distinctive, music-led experience on its stand. A carefully curated soundtrack ran throughout, drawing consistent footfall and creating a strong sense of atmosphere, as visitors engaged with the brand in a more immersive and emotionally resonant environment. Aligned with OMODA&JAECOO’s modern, design-led identity, the music became a central part of the experience – shaping the mood, encouraging interaction and reinforcing the brand’s connection with a younger, globally minded audience.
This global milestone is matched by strong UK momentum. In March alone, OMODA&JAECOO UK registered 17,951 vehicles*, an impressive achievement for a brand house that has been on sale in the UK for less than two years. To build on the significance of reaching one million users, OMODA&JAECOO has announced the OMODA Global Music Festival, set to take place at its headquarters in Wuhu, China on 28 April.
Conceived as a large-scale celebration of community and creativity, the festival reflects the growing importance of music as a universal language among younger audiences. Designed to connect people across cultures and geographies, it will feature a diverse mix of live performances and interactive experiences, creating opportunities for shared expression and engagement.
As part of the event, advanced robotics developed in collaboration with the AiMOGA Robotics team will play an active role in the experience. These highly sophisticated robots are used to greet guests, facilitate interaction and help spark connection throughout the stand, reinforcing OMODA&JAECOO’s unique combination of technology, culture and human engagement.
Additional interactive elements will span music, innovation and digital engagement, all centred around OMODA&JAECOO’s global user community. The event is positioned not simply as a festival, but as a multi-sensory brand experience – combining entertainment, technology and culture in a way that reflects the brand’s future-facing outlook.
Gary Lan, CEO of OMODA&JAECOO UK, said: “Reaching one million users – ‘the new LOHAS’ - globally is a defining milestone for OMODA&JAECOO and a proud moment for everyone connected to the brand. The OMODA Global Music Festival has been created as an immersive celebration of our community, bringing together music, technology, culture and social connection in a way that reflects our future-focused vision, to ‘Co-Create A Beautiful Life With Young People’.
“This is more than an event, it is a showcase of the OMODA&JAECOO ecosystem, where guests can engage with the brand through curated experiences spanning food, art, innovation and relaxation, while sharing in the energy and passion that define who we are.”
The headline act line-up, programme highlights and interactive innovations will be unveiled soon.
