With plug-in hybrids experiencing renewed demand across the UK market as consumers continue on the road to electrification, this recognition underscores the quality, capability and relevance of the OMODA 9 SHS in an increasingly competitive segment.

Powered by a 1.5-litre engine, dual electric motors and a 34.46 kWh MP3 battery, the SUV delivered its full 449 PS and 700 Nm capability with ease, exceeding its official WLTP range estimate and showcasing its 93-mile pure EV range in real conditions. The qualities proven on this journey – long-distance efficiency, strong electric capability and smooth hybrid performance – align directly with the attributes recognised by The Car Expert’s award, and the trip went on to secure Gold at The Drum Awards in the Automotive category.
