JAECOO and its best-selling JAECOO 7 have been shortlisted in the New Car of the Year category at the AM Awards 2026, highlighting the brand’s growing impact in the UK since its launch in January 2025.
Organised by Automotive Management, the AM Awards celebrate excellence across the automotive sector, recognising vehicles and brands that demonstrate innovation, performance and strong customer appeal.
The JAECOO 7, available with a variety of powertrains and trim levels, starts from £29,105 OTR* in all-new SHS-H form. Combining adventure-ready styling with advanced technology and a competitive value proposition, the model has quickly established itself in the highly competitive SUV segment.
Since launch, the JAECOO 7 has resonated with both retailers – now numbering 122 dealerships – and customers, with over 36,500 sales to date. Its premium feel, generous specification and everyday usability have made it a standout choice, and its shortlist within the AM Awards reflects this momentum.

The brand’s market share has steadily risen since launch, reaching 2.25%** in February 2026, with the JAECOO 7 ranking as the fifth best-selling car in the UK** last month.
Winners of the AM Awards 2026 will be announced at the official ceremony later this year.
