JAECOO 7 named UK’s best-selling Chinese car in October

• The JAECOO 7 was the best-selling Chinese car in the UK last month, as data from the SMMT* confirms 2,611 were sold in October alone
• The result marks the first time JAECOO has led the UK new car registration chart for Chinese vehicles, outselling every other Chinese model available

Less than 12 months since launch, JAECOO UK has confirmed the JAECOO 7 was the top-selling Chinese car in October*. The only model from a Chinese OEM to chart in the top ten, according to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT)*, the brand has sold over 20,000 JAECOO 7s in the UK since it was launched in January 2025.

Firmly established as one of the fastest-growing and most popular automotive brands in the country, this is further underpinned by today’s confirmation by the SMMT* that 2,611 JAECOO 7s were sold in October, outselling every other Chinese SUV model on the market.

The JAECOO 7 is available from £30,115 OTR**, with the JAECOO 7 SHS priced from £35,165 OTR**. The upcoming JAECOO 5 is available to order now from £24,505 OTR**, alongside the pure electric JAECOO E5 from £27,505 OTR**.
