Batchelors Motor Group is proud to announce the acquisition of Kineholme of Otley Renault and Dacia.

Batchelors Managing Director and owner Tony Denton said ‘’Kineholme is an established family-owned business that fits perfectly within our TLC not PLC ethos. I am excited to expand into West Yorkshire and continue to serve our loyal customers in Otley, and new customers too. For our existing Batchelors customers, Renault and Dacia offer class leading electric and hybrid cars which complement our existing Suzuki range perfectly’’

Kineholme has served Otley, Ilkley and surrounding areas since 1956 making it one of the longest established motor retailers in Wharfedale. Liz Kennedy, General Manager said ‘’ After nearly 40 years of ownership, the time has now come to pass on our much loved business, staff and loyal customers into the capable and energetic hands of the Denton family. Much has changed in the motor trade over the years and I’m very excited for Kineholme to benefit from the scale and resources of being part of a successful and dynamic, but most importantly, family dealer group. I wish Tony Denton and the team every success in the future.”

Kineholme joins the Batchelors Motor Group which was established in 1987 by David Batchelor. In 2013, the business was acquired by the Tony Denton who has expanded the group, opening York Suzuki in 2019. In 2021, the group added a paint and cosmetic repair centre, making sure Batchelors are equipped to cover all of your motoring needs.
