Dacia is set to build on Duster and Bigster’s go-anywhere capability, making everyday adventure even more accessible, with the introduction of a new hybrid 150 4x4 powertrain on its pair of popular SUVs later this year.
Built for drivers who want the freedom to take the long way home, head off the beaten track and make the most of every weekend, the upcoming hybrid 150 4x4 will strengthen what Dacia does best: rugged, robust SUVs with the kind of dependable usability that makes adventure part of everyday life.
From school runs and commutes, to muddy tracks, winter roads and spontaneous escapes, the new powertrain will bring together electrified efficiency, confident all-wheel drive traction and automatic convenience. It makes Duster and Bigster even more versatile for the journeys that matter most.
The hybrid 150 4x4 will feature a new generation 48V mild hybrid system with EV driving capability, delivering 150hp and 230Nm from the combustion engine, supported by an additional 87Nm from the electric motor.
Power will be delivered through a responsive 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with paddles enabling manual override when drivers want more control, whether tackling challenging terrain, towing, or simply enjoying the drive.
Full details, including UK specifications and availability, will be confirmed in the coming months, ahead of launch later this year.
