Restored with passion and meticulous attention to detail, this iconic aircraft expresses the values that have driven Renault for over a century: pioneering spirit, bold technological vision and the constant pursuit of performance.
The restoration revives a legacy that is echoed today in Renault Rafale, the production model and flagship for the brand’s premium ambitions. By using the name Rafale, Renault is establishing a dialogue between its aviation heritage and its contemporary vision of performance, design and innovation.
Behind the scenes, a team of dedicated and committed experts spent many months in the workshop, addressing all the technical challenges involved in bringing this iconic aircraft back to life. Thanks to this meticulous process of preparation, with emphasis on every detail, this symbol of the past is able to take flight once more, adding a new chapter to a unique story linking heritage with the modern day.
Renault will soon be lifting the veil on this extraordinary adventure, taking us behind the scenes with an immersive “making-of” video, featuring the key stages, expertise and people involved in preparing the maiden flight of the Caudron Rafale C.460.
