Say hello to Paul Simpson – Batchelors York's very own deal-making, bike-restoring, fish-and-chips-loving Sales Manager. Hailing from Easingwold, Paul brings charisma, charm, and a deep love for retro wheels (both two and four) to the showroom floor.
He might be steering customers into their next perfect car these days, but Paul’s heart still races for his beloved Ford Fiesta XR2i – a throwback rocket that defined cool in its day. And when he’s not talking horsepower, he’s usually at home restoring retro BMX bikes, proving once and for all that age is just a number… especially when it comes to wheelies.
Paul’s ultimate comfort meal is classic fish and chips, but when he's treating himself? It's full throttle surf and turf. Dream holidays? He already lived it – a 12-month stint in Israel which he fondly describes as the best year of his life… mainly because it didn’t include parenting duties.
As for childhood dreams? Paul admits he had no idea what he wanted to be growing up — and proudly still doesn’t. But we think he’s found his groove, blending his love for people, cars, and quirky pastimes into one slick sales package.
If you need a great car or a vintage BMX restored... Paul’s your man. Just don’t ask him to babysit.
