Meet Paul, Batchelors’ very own transaction wizard — the man who somehow keeps paperwork, car deals, and sanity all in perfect balance. With 36 years in the motor industry, he’s basically seen it all… twice.
Comfort food? Paul doesn’t mess about. Chicken Saag Curry is his go-to, which sounds fancy, but also secretly means he’s the person who quietly judges your takeaway choices.
His dream car? The classic Aston Martin DB6 — because some people collect watches, others collect cars, and Paul clearly thinks a bit of Bond-level style is non-negotiable.
Speaking of watches, he’s a collector — nothing too crazy, just enough to know the time, the date, and probably when the stock market is about to spike. He’s also a qualified Dive Master, so when he’s not swimming through paperwork, he’s swimming through coral reefs somewhere exotic.
Best holiday? The Maldives, naturally. White sand, turquoise water, and the kind of sunburn that makes you question your life choices — sounds perfect to us.
Childhood dream? To work with cars. He nailed it. Thirty-six years later, Paul is still doing exactly what he loves — and somehow staying charming while doing it.
Music-wise, he’s got a playlist for every mood — The Jam for live gig nostalgia, Jamiroquai for funky vibes, Tears for Fears for thoughtful driving, and a sprinkle of Elton John when he really wants to feel legendary.
So whether he’s closing deals, checking the watches, or scuba diving into paperwork, Paul brings experience, style, and just the right amount of cool to the York team — basically a Bond movie in human form, minus the Aston Martin (for now).
