Meet Oliver Young — Batchelors Ripon’s very own skateboarding, breadstick-loving, dream-car-dreaming sales consultant. Originally from Ilkley and now living in Harrogate, Oliver brings energy, humour, and a love of cars (and carbs) to every customer interaction.
His guilty pleasure? Breadsticks. Yes, breadsticks. Don’t ask him to choose between them and dessert—he can’t.
Oliver’s actual car experience is modest—a trusty Alfa Romeo Mito—but his dream ride is something a little more ambitious: an Aston Martin Rapide V12. Sleek, powerful, and fast enough to make even his skateboarding skills look pedestrian.
Speaking of skateboarding, that’s his favourite hobby. When he’s not wheeling around town or closing deals, he’s mastering tricks and dreaming of speed in other forms. That love of racing hasn’t faded either; as a kid he wanted to be a racing driver—and honestly, he still does.
Travel-wise, Oliver has ticked New York off the list with his family, but the ultimate dream? A lads’ trip to Miami—sun, fun, and maybe a few laps on the beach.
Musically, he’s all about Jamiroquai — funky grooves, good vibes, and a soundtrack to match his energy. And yes, he’s been known to pose for photos trying to make his mum proud… with mixed results.
Full of personality, drive, and a cheeky sense of humour, Oliver makes every visit to Batchelors Ripon a little brighter (and maybe a little faster).
