Mark might have technically been born in Ipswich (thanks, RAF Dad), but make no mistake—he’s York through and through. He’s as much a part of the local landscape as a good cuppa and a drizzle of rain.
Mark is our go-to guy for all things parts, but don’t let the job title fool you—there’s a bit of a rock star under the sensible surface. Back in the day, Mark played guitar in a band, living the gig life and strumming his way through cover sets to crowds that definitely didn’t boo (we asked).
These days, he’s swapped tour buses for torque specs, but the rhythm’s still there—just now it’s under the hood. A former Opel Monza owner and lifelong motorcycle enthusiast, Mark’s current dream ride? The sleek and stylish Jaecoo J7.
When he’s not keeping the parts department ticking like clockwork, you’ll find him daydreaming of spicy Indian curries and far-flung destinations like Canada, Mexico, and Australia—his personal travel bucket list.
As for childhood dreams? He may not have topped the charts, but with a guitar, a good curry, and a solid set of wheels, Mark’s still living life with a little rock ‘n’ roll spirit.
