His idea of comfort? A bowl of homemade mushroom soup, steaming hot and perfectly seasoned. Add in a bit of Don Henley’s “The Boys of Summer” in the background, and you’ve basically bottled Gerald’s happy place.
When it comes to cars, Gerald’s dream is as classic as it is cool: a VW Corrado VR6 Storm. And until that dream finds its way onto his driveway, he’ll keep matching customers to their perfect ride—because helping someone drive away happy is almost as good as owning the dream car yourself. Almost.
A self-confessed paranormal enthusiast, Gerald’s got an eye for the unexplained—ghosts, hauntings, you name it. If something goes creak in the Malton showroom after hours, chances are, he’s the first to investigate (with a grin, of course).
As a kid, he wanted to be the next Daley Thompson—running track, chasing glory, and dreaming of gold medals after the ’84 Olympics. He didn’t quite make it to the podium, but he’s still got the competitive streak (just ask anyone who’s faced him in the office quiz).
