Chris is the kind of guy who can seal a deal, sink a treble 20, and still have time to recommend the best Mac 'n' Cheese in town. As our Sales Manager at Batchelors Ripon, he keeps the wheels turning—both metaphorically and literally—and has a knack for hitting the sweet spot between professional and just plain likeable.
His pride and joy from the past? A 1990 Renault 5 GT Turbo. Fast, boxy, and full of character—much like Chris on a Monday morning before coffee. When he’s not working or quietly dominating at darts, he’s probably daydreaming about turquoise waters and overwater villas in the Maldives, a far cry from his hometown of Leyland (no offense, Leyland).
Ask Chris what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he’ll tell you he’s still working on it—after 40 years, the mystery remains unsolved. But judging by the way he leads the Ripon team, we’d say he’s doing something pretty spot-on.
Witty, calm under pressure, and always up for a challenge, Chris is proof that you don’t need to have it all figured out—as long as you’ve got a good aim and even better taste in comfort food.
