VEHICLE PAINT SPRAYER / REPAIRER WANTED

Batchelors of Ripon are looking for a skilled and experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Repairer.
Although out Paint Shop facility, based in Dallamires Lane is not an accident repair centre, you will be carrying out minor body repairs and paint spraying.
You will need to have good knowledge on up-to-date paint techniques and products and have hands on experience in a car painting environment.
Main Duties will Include:
- Carry out minor body repairs
- Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding, and other necessary preparation work
- Spray paint to the required finish ensuring correctness of colour match and final finish to the Company’s expected standards
- Quality check your own work on completion
We are looking for individuals that possess the following attributes:
- City & Guilds qualification or equivalent
- Understands the general principles of paint spraying technology, paint composition and body repair
- Understands the general principles of paint mixing
- Can demonstrate the various methods of paint spraying vehicles
- Strong communication skills for customer service and team communication
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Full valid UK driving licence essential
