Key Responsibilities:
As a Car Sales Executive at Batchelors York Suzuki, you will:

  • Sales & Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers by qualifying their requirements, presenting vehicle options, and guiding them through the car buying journey.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Suzuki products, including specifications, features, and benefits, to confidently recommend the best options to customers.
  • Sales Targets: Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Care: Provide an outstanding level of customer service, both pre- and post-sale, to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction scores are incredibly important and a key measure for Suzuki.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Handle negotiations, including pricing, trade-in deals, add-on products, financing options.
  • Administrative Duties: Complete all necessary paperwork, including sales contracts, finance agreements, and vehicle delivery documentation. You will complete all training required to ensure Batchelors of York is compliant.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other sales executives, management, and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the dealership. Our team thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment, ensuring that we balance fun with professionalism to create a positive, energetic atmosphere even in busy times.
  • Product Demonstrations: Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, explaining key features and driving performance to potential buyers.

  • Day off in the week
  • Sundays off – We believe in giving our staff a well-deserved break each Sunday to enjoy time with family or pursue personal interests.

About You:

  • Proven sales experience in a retail or automotive environment is beneficial, but not essential.
  • A passion for cars and an eagerness to learn about Suzuki’s products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
  • A positive, can-do attitude, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
