    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Salary £18,000 - £22,000 OTE £25,000 + Depending on experience

    Batchelors Motor Group require a top-class parts advisor to work in our Ripon branch. Batchelors is a respected family business and motor dealership based in Ripon and York. We represent two fantastic franchises, Suzuki and Mitsubishi. We would prefer you to have experience of either Suzuki or Mitsubishi, but this is not essential as in- house and manufacturer training will be provided.

    Job Purpose:

    To source and supply vehicle parts efficiently for customers and workshop vehicles, meeting agreed sales volume targets and delivering excellent customer service.

    Reports to: Parts Manager

    Hours: 8:00 – 5:30 Mon Fri Saturday 8 – 12:30 on a rota basis

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Receive, record and bin parts and consumables from suppliers ensuring accuracy of stock deliveries against agreed orders.
    • Identify, locate, invoice and issue parts and consumables to customers and other departments using the dealership computer system.
    • Supply accurate and detailed parts quotations to internal departments, retail and trade customers.
    • Administer parts invoices ensuring invoiced items are accountable.
    • Establish customer needs for required parts, communicating relevant promotions and offers to customers when appropriate.
    • Manage and control all parts administration requirements.
    • Manage any necessary liaison with department manager regarding customer dissatisfaction. Follow up in line with dealership procedures.
    • Maintain product knowledge on the full product range.
    • Maintain relevant systems ensuring accuracy at all times.

    Experience / Requirements:

    Ideally you will have worked within a sourcing / supplying parts role. Willing to attend manufacture training. Competent at using ICT, Maths & English.
